Are you independent content creators?

Yes, VacationIdea.com (VacationIdea LLC is our company) is (and always was!) completely independent. To us, our independence is paramount--we can't emphasize this enough! We are not (and never were!) associated with any other companies, channels, networks or marketing groups. "Vacation Idea" is a very common term in the English language and other companies are using it but we are not associated with them in any way (and we never were!).

We are Ema and Chris, completely independent small content creators with a small blog of 200 pages called "VacationIdea.com - Dream Vacation Magazine". We've kept the original full name as a reminder of our roots because when we first started writing about travel in 1999, we printed a small quarterly magazine which we produced ourselves (just Chris and Ema). While we quickly moved to the blog format as the Internet took hold, we kept the full name to remind ourselves of our journey and our life-long passion for inspiring others to travel. We don't employ any freelance writers or editors. We are just two people working on VacationIdea.com.
