Qantas launches e-ticket interlining with American Airlines

Qantas launched interline electronic ticketing with their US partner American Airlines.
Qantas ia a member of oneworld, the only global airline grouping who has so far committed to interline e-ticketing throughout all of its partners.
Interline e-ticketing enables customers to be checked right through to their final destination, without the need for traditional paper tickets. It also makes rebooking simpler because it does not require the passengers to obtain a paper ticket first.
E-tickets include many benefits, including: Quicker check-in Electronic tickets cannot be lost or stolen Access to self-service check-in devices
