First Class Sleeper Seat on Qantas

By the Travel Editors at VacationIdea.com, Last Update: Jun 23, 2004
When you travel in First Class on Qantas' international flights, you check-in at a dedicated First check-in counter. At Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne you move through the dedicated First Class lane at immigration for Express Immigration Clearance. Then you can relax in any Qantas First or Business lounge. Once you board the plane, you can settle into your full length First sleeper seat.

The First sleeper seat is available on Qantas B747-400 aircraft. Flying in a sleeper seat is a true luxury, especially on the long-haul flights from Los Angeles to Sydney, where the ability to stretch out and lie down is a great treat.

After you put on your complimentary First sleeper suit, your seat transforms into a flat bed with the touch of a button. In the sleeping position, the width between the armrests is 21.5 inches, giving you enough room to roll around and get comfortable with the duvet, soft lambs wool blanket and an oversized linen pillow.
