Camelback Inn is an authentic Southwestern resort originally built in 1936. The resort is located on 125 acres in Scottsdale, Arizona, overlooking Camelback Mountain. It offers numerous vacation activities in a unique desert setting.

The resort, popular during the winter months, has three outdoor heated swimming pools and whirlpools, a full-service European-style health spa, a Children's playground, six tennis courts, several restaurants and a golf club.

Camelback Golf Club features the par-72 Indian Bend Course, originally designed by Jack Snyder in 1978 and redesigned by Arthur Hills in 2000. The golf course incorporates secluded sand traps, gently rolling terrain, several water holes and scenic mountain views as a backdrop. Recently, the resort has added a new Padre Course by Arthur Hills, a new Clubhouse, a golf shop, the Grill at Camelback Golf Club and a new practice range.

Camelback Golf Club has a staff of more than twenty PGA golf professionals offering individual and group instruction at the John Jacobs Practical Golf School. The golf school caters to all ability levels. Guests can borrow golf equipment from a wide range of manufacturers as a part of Camelback's Golf Club Demo program. The choice of equipment combined with the expertise of the golf club staff ensures that guests select the right golf equipment to match their needs.

The Spa at Camelback Inn
The Spa at Camelback Inn offers fitness facilities, a salon and health spa services. The treatment facilities at the spa include 32 treatment rooms. There is also a spa restaurant and a fitness center, Turkish steams, Finnish saunas, hot and cold plunges, whirlpools, and a lap pool.

Spa guests are also able to choose one of the lifestyle-enhancing wellness programs which include diagnostic testing, education and nutrition counseling.

Adobe-style Casitas Accommodate Resort Guests
There are 453 guest rooms, including 27 suites, situated in oversized adobe-style casitas with private entrances, garden patios and balconies. Different suite sizes and layouts provide abundant choice if you are planning a family vacation. Seven Deluxe suites have private swimming pools; 28 of the suites suites have private sundecks.

Seven distinct restaurants and lounges provide a variety of dining options. Chaparral serves American cuisine, Navajo restaurant offers Southwestern dishes, Rita's Taqueria serves authentic Mexican food, while Sprouts at The Spa serves healthy foods. Casual dining options include the Kokopelli Cafe, poolside Hoppin' Jack's, and the Grill at Camelback Golf Club.

Desert climate makes spring, fall and winter the best time to visit Camelback Inn. During the peak times around the winter holidays you should reserve in advance. The resort is located approximately 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Guests can get a taxi from the airport to the hotel.
