Golfers will delight in knowing that Dunk Island is home to a 18-hole golf course, the only island golf course in Australia. The Kids Club caters to children ages 3 to 12 year-round where kids participate in games, sports and island adventures.
Dunk Island resort offers 144 guest rooms. If you want to be close to the beach, book one of the Bayview Suites with views of Brammo Bay and direct access to the beach.
Three meals daily are included in the price of your stay and are served at Beachcomber Restaurant, the resort's main restaurant which specializes in fresh tropical style cuisine. Specialty nights include a Seafood Buffet on Fridays and a Mediterranean buffet on Thursdays.
EJ's On The Deck, open during the day, offers a Modern Australian Brasserie style menu such as gourmet sandwiches, salads, ice-creams, milkshakes and fresh juices. Plantation Bar overlooks the beachfront pool and provides nightly entertainment to resort guest. During the day, Cascade Pool Bar serves drinks and light snacks.

The island is located off the Tropical North Queensland coast, midway between Townsville and Cairns. Regular flights are available from all major Australian capital cities to Dunk Island (DKI) via Cairns with Qantas and Virgin Blue. Skytrans, a charter carrier, offers a range of charter options from Cairns. The flight between Cairns and Dunk Island takes 40 minutes. Ask about transportation to Dunk Island when booking your room with the resort.
