Famous for its pink sand beaches and blue seas, Bermuda is a popular vacation getaway. The Beach Club, situated in a private cove next to Horseshoe Beach, offers chaise lounges, towels, umbrellas, lockers, showers and a cold towel service in the summer. You can rent scuba diving and snorkeling equipment from the club, and dine at Whaler Inn.
The Fairmont Southampton has an outdoor and an indoor pool. The outdoor pool is only open during the warmer months when it remains open 24 hours a day.
Willow Stream, The Spa at The Fairmont Southampton is a 31,000-square-foot facility with 15 treatment rooms, three lounges, an indoor heated pool with waterfalls, gardens, two Jacuzzis with sundeck overlooking the South Shore ocean, beauty salon and a fitness center.
The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course is a per-54 18-hole course designed by Theodore Robinson. Greens fees start from $55 USD during low season and from $66 USD during high season. The club offers a practice green, club and shoe rentals and golf lessons. The resort concierge can also reserve a tee time at Bermuda's other golf courses, including Port Royal, Riddle's Bay and Belmont.
Explorers Camp, the children's activity center, accommodates kids four years old and above. It offers sporting events, scavenger hunts and other vacation activities to resort guests free of charge. Tuesday through Saturday night, kids ages seven and above can participate in the The 7 & Up Club while their parents enjoy a romantic dinner at one of the resort's restaurants.
Dining choices at The Fairmont Southampton range from Caribbean to international cuisine. Whaler Inn serves seafood specialties, the Rib Room offers steaks and chops, while the the Newport Room and the Waterlot Inn offer European-style cuisine in an elegant setting. Some of the restaurants may be closed during the low season.
