Stay at a luxurious Jamaican retreat and find out where Ian Fleming found the inspiration for his famous 007 novels. Goldeneye is an 18-acre hideaway in Jamaica which includes Ian Fleming's 1940s home where he wrote 14 of his James Bond novels. Guest villas offer privacy, seclusion and luxury with a private beach, outdoor garden baths and showers.

There are four private villas at the resort varying from one to three bedroom units. The resort grounds include a hidden regulation tennis court and trees planted by several celebrities during their stay. Low Cay Beach is a private beach offering a variety of vacation activities such as kayaking, windsurfing, jet skiing and snorkeling.

The waterside Gazebo dining area is available to guests for dining and cocktails. The restaurant serves traditional Jamaican dishes and fresh seafood. All food and beverage is included in the rate. Goldeneye can also make special arrangements prior to their guests' arrival.

The Ian Fleming House has three bedrooms with a master bedroom that faces the sea and features Ian Fleming's original writing desk. The house has a cut stone courtyard and a lilly pond with exotic fish. Large windows and high ceilings five the villa an open feel. There is a private access to the pool and the cove below the cliffs.

Goldeneye is located in Oracabessa, a small port on Jamaica’s northern coast, two hours east of the Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. Ground transfers start at $150 one way, for up to four passengers from Montego Bay Airport.
