Best Time to Go & Getting There
In the spring, Florence is at its best with mild temperatures and fewer crowds. The Florence Airport Amerigo Vespucci is about 15 minutes by car from the Villa Medici. Taxis are readily available at the airport. If you are arriving to Florence by train from Rome (about 2 hours by train), the Santa Maria Novella rail station in Florence is near the hotel.
