Set at an altitude of 2,300 feet, Grasmere Lodge is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and hiking trails in the neighbouring Arthur's Pass National Park.

The lodge has eleven guestrooms and suites overlooking the lake and the mountains. The rooms feature jacuzzi baths and private decks with chairs from which you can enjoy scenic mountain views. Fresh mountain air combined with numerous outdoor activities will ensure that you get plenty of good sleep on your mountain getaway.

In the summer, which is from December through February in New Zealand, guests can relax in the teak loungers that surround the heated outdoor pool. The pool house includes a gym, small kitchen and a changing room.

Complimentary activities at Grasmere Lodge range from sightseeing excursion and tennis to bird watching, canoeing and fly fishing.
