Jumby Bay is a getaway for anyone looking for privacy, seclusion and incredible beaches. Located on a 300-acre private island two miles north of Antigua, the resort is surrounded by tropical foliage, coral reefs and sapphire waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Jumby Bay Beach and Pasture Beach are ideal for sunbathing. They can be reached following paths lined with palms trees on foot or by bicycle. The island is home to the endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle, the Blue Pelican and other wildlife.
Jumby Bay is known for its attentive service and casual-elegant island lifestyle. Guests are accommodated in 39 luxury suites and 11 two-bedroom villas with private plunge pools. Several private houses on the island may also be available for rent.
The resort has three tennis courts with a resident tennis pro, three miles of hiking trails, a croquet lawn, a putting green and a 25-meter lap pool. The Beach Pavilion includes a workout room with free-weights, cardiovascular and weight training machines.
The beaches of Jumby Bay offer a variety of water sports, such as snorkeling, water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing and kayaking. The concierge can arrange scuba diving and deep-sea fishing trips to Falmouth Harbor on Antigua's southern side.
Snorkeling enthusiasts can sign up for a morning snorkeling trip to Bird Island, offered three times per week. New to snorkeling? Beach attendants at the resort can arrange a snorkeling lesson to get you started.
