King Pacific Lodge, located on the north coast of British Columbia, 56 miles south of the nearest town Prince Rupert, offers luxurious accommodations and gourmet cuisine.
Northern British Columbia is home to The Great Bear Rainforest, the largest intact temperate rainforest left on earth. Unique species of animals include the Spirit Bear, the rainforest wolf, Orca whales and bald eagles. The lodge is set in the middle of forests, mountain streams and clear lakes.
The King Pacific Lodge was designed to offer its guests comfort and spectacular views of the landscape. The lodge is crafted from timber and native stone. Seventeen oversized accommodations are furnished with custom-designed furniture, deep soaker-tubs and down duvets. When booking your room, you can choose between wilderness and ocean views.
Several wilderness packages are available at the lodge, including salmon fishing, fly-fishing and wildlife viewing. Optional adventure vacation activities include helicopter flight-seeing excursions, guided fly-fishing, guided spirit bear viewing trips and guided saltwater fishing.
When you return from your daily trip, have a soothing massage, relax in the sauna, steam room or hot tub. At night, gaze through the high-powered telescope and admire the number of stars visible in the wilderness.
