Kingsmill Resort is one of the top golf vacation resorts on the East Coast with four golf courses and a golf academy. The three 18-hole championship courses and a nine-hole Par-3 course can accommodate players of all ability levels. The Woods Course has wide fairways and deep ravines. The River Course is known for its sharply elevated greens and views of the James River. The Plantation Course, designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, offers a challenging and beautiful layout for players of all abilities.The Kingsmill Tennis Club offers 15 courts, including seven Fast-Dry clay and two Deco-Turf all weather courts. Tennis services include a match making service, instruction, equipment rentals, complimentary court times and complimentary tennis clinics for Kingsmill Resort guests.
The Spa at Kingsmill offers therapeutic massage, seaweed and paraffin body treatments, facials and a full service salon. Guests can choose from full and half-day spa packages with healthy low calorie lunches.
In the summer, from late May through Labor Day, Kingsmill Resort offers a range of family activities such as tennis, golf, water aerobics, pool parties and family scavenger hunts. The Kingsmill Kampers program provides activities for children ages 5 to 12 such as golf, tennis, fitness, fishing, swimming, theme days, arts and crafts, games, and hands-on nature activities.
The Kingsmill Conference Center can accommodate meetings of 10 to 300 people. It offers nine sound-proof meeting rooms and a 4,000-square-foot ballroom with panoramic views of the James River.

Kingsmill Resort provides 400 guest accommodations. The rooms and suites overlook the James River, one of the golf courses or the tennis courts. The one, two or three bedroom suites feature complete kitchens, spacious living and dining areas, fireplaces, and outdoor decks.Guests at Kingsmill Resort can dine at three restaurants, one casual lounge and a pub-style tavern. The Bray Dining Room, located in the Resort Center overlooking the James River, offers contemporary cuisine and regional specialties of the Chesapeake Bay. Eagles' at the Golf Club features steaks, chops and seafood. Regattas' Café and Market is Kingsmill's newest restaurant and provides casual dining. Room Service offers a full-service menu, a selection of beverages, picnic baskets and groceries.
Vacation Location
Kingsmill provides a great starting point for exploring Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Colonial Williamsburg is a restored 18th-century town with costumed guides. The resort provides complimentary transportation to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. There are many shopping venues to choose from in the area, including Merchants' Square and outlet malls.Best Time to Go & Getting There
High season is April to October which offers more stable weather and the widest choice of outdoor activities. Nearby airports include Richmond, Norfolk and Newport News/Williamsburg international airports. Car rental is available at these airports. Alternatively, Amtrak offers a service to Williamsburg.
