Tiamo accommodates 22 guests at a time in 11 private beachside bungalows, surrounded by coconut palms and sand. Guests can visit the main lodge to eat, drink, chat and read in the Tiamo library.
You can snorkel right off the beach at Tiamo, or join a guided snorkeling adventure to the Blue Holes or the Reef. Blue Holes of the South Bight, a ten minute boat ride from Tiamo, plunge hundreds of feet deep and are surrounded by beautiful coral formations. A 15-minute boat ride from the resort, the Andros Barrier Reef is home to many species of corals and tropical fish.
Tiamo will provide you with a sail boat and a quick sailing lesson so that you will be able to explore the calm protected waters of the South Bight on your own.
Guided kayak trips take guests to the Crack, rich with marine life and colorful fish. If you prefer, kayaks are also available for self-guided adventures.

The resort is a 90-minute flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Charter flights cost around $650 each way for up to five people (contact Tiamo for more information). You can also fly to Nassau and charter a plane there for a 20-minute flight to the resort.
