The Peaks Resort and Golden Door Spa provides ski-in/ski-out access to the Telluride Ski Area which offers 1,700 skiable acres for skiers of all ability levels. A complimentary Gondola service transports resort guests to the ski area and the town of Telluride. Other winter activities include heli-skiing, cross-country skiing, dog-sled rides, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
The Telluride Golf Course, located 9,300 feet above sea level, features scenic mountain views. You may be surprised to find that at this altitude golf balls travel 15 percent further than at they do at sea level. The Telluride Ski and Golf Company facilities include a pro shop, clubhouse, practice putting greens, and a driving range.
The resort has five outdoor hard-surface tennis courts where guests can take private or group lessons. During the summer months, the area offers many outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking, jeep tours, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding and rock climbing.
The Golden Door Spa at the Peaks Resort offers a full range of treatments, including massage therapies, Oriental bodywork, Ayurvedic body treatments, hydrotherapy, skincare treatments, fitness and salon services. Spa facilities include saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis, an indoor lap pool connected by a water slide to the lower indoor/outdoor pool, and a fitness center. All resort guests have access to the spa facilities.

The resort offers 174 guest rooms and suites, many with a terrace overlooking the mountain village or Mt. Wilson. Guests can also choose from one to four bedroom condominiums and penthouses.The resort has two restaurants which offer many choices, including the famous Golden Door Spa cuisine. Legends is a 100-seat restaurant with seasonal outdoor seating next to the pool. Appaloosa is a more intimate restaurant with panoramic views of Wilson Peak and the surrounding San Juan Mountains.
