Andros Island in the Bahamas
Written by Vacation Idea.com Travel Editors.
Andros is the largest island in the Bahamas, measuring 2,300 square miles. It is also the least visited. Andos features the third largest barrier reef in the world and is a perfect destination for snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing and other watersports.
Tiamo is an environment-friendly resort situated on South Andros. If you want to get away from it all, settle into one of the resort's 11 private beachside bungalows and enjoy the surrounding beaches.
Kamalame Cay, adjacent to Andros Island, also offers only 11 guest accommodations. The 96-acre Caribbean island has three miles of white sand beach sheltered by a barrier reef.
