The Bass Museum in Miami Beach

Established in 1963 when the City of Miami Beach accepted the gift of the art collection of John and Johanna Bass, the Bass Museum in Miami Beach has a large collection of European paintings, sculpture, and textiles from the Renaissance to the present, as well as changing exhibits.
The museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm; Thursday 10 am to 9 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm. It is closed Mondays and on national holidays.
$6 General Admission; $4 Seniors/Students with I.D.; Free for members and children under 6; Free the second Thursday of every month 6–9 pm.
