The Cobblers Bridge that crosses the river Ljubljanica in the center of Ljubljana dates back to the 13th century. Some time ago cobblers' booths were stationed right on the bridge, and that's how the bridge got its name. In 1931, Joze Plecnik installed the Cobblers Bridge that exists today.
