Furnace Creek Inn is a green vacation getaway in California, powered by one of the largest solar photovoltaic energy systems in the United States.

Solar panels were installed on five acres of Southern California's Death Valley National Park, providing more than one-third of the total annual electricity needs of Xanterra which runs the Furnace Creek Inn.
