Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCa) in North Miami opened to the public in February, 1996. It is housed in a 23,000 square foot structure designed by Charles Gwathmey.
MoCa features provocative and innovative exhibitions, presenting 8 to 10 exhibitions annually. The permanent collection features more than 400 works by emerging and established contemporary artists.
The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm, Fridays from 11 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from Noon to 5 pm. MoCa is closed on Mondays. To confirm opening times, call 305-893-6211.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for Seniors/Students with I.D., and free for children under 12. Tuesday admission is by donation. Tours are available on Saturdays at 2:00 pm.
Tip: Free Parking is available East, West, and South of the museum.
