Getting to Sedona
Sedona is a two hour drive from Phoenix, 5 hours from Las Vegas and 7 and a half hours from Los Angles. The easiest way to get there is to fly into Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix and rent a car for the ride to Sedona.

Getting Around While You Are There
You will need to rent a car at Phoenix airport for the drive to Sedona.

When To Go
Due to its elevation, Sedona is spared some of the temperature extremes that other parts of Arizona experience. In the summer, temperatures are in the 90s, not what you would cosider mild but not bad if you are sitting by the pool with a cool drink. If you visit in winter ,you will see the red rock spires topped with light snow.

Sedona Vacation Deals & Tips
If you do plan on exploring the Red Rock Country by car then you must purchase a "Red Rock Pass". All cars parked inthe National Forest for non-commercial purposes must display a Red Rock Pass. If you just plan on driving straight through then no pass is required. Daily, weekly and annual passes are available for $5, $10 and $15 each, respectively.
