The Kapalua Bay Hotel, a 210-room resort on Maui, is both a beach and golf vacation destination. The resort's beach has a beach activity center which provides everything from snorkeling to catamaran sails. There are four restaurants at the hotel including the open air Gardenia Court as well as pool side dining.Kapalua has three world class golf courses all which have great views of the ocean, as well as a great golf school. The kids can watch as you take an introduction to scuba diving course and see if you want to get full scuba certification.
The kids will love the pools and snorkeling at the beach. Parents will appreciate that the protected bay means that the water at the beach is relatively calm making it easier to watch the kids as they play. Try to get the family out on the court at the Tennis Garden and the Village Tennis Center. Each have 10 plexi-pave courts for day and night play. Rentals as well as private and semi-private lessons are available to resort guests.
Getting There - Transporting the Whole Family
Kapalua is easily reachable by plane but you should be sure to fly into Kapalua Airport which is only five minutes from the resort. You can fly into Kahului Airport but it is a 50 minute drive.Rates
