Museum of the Opera del Duomo in Florence
Written by Vacation Idea.com Travel Editors.

The present site of the Museum of the Opera del Duomo was originally used at the end of the thirteenth century for planning and storage while the Duomo of Florence was being built. Today, the palace houses original works that had to be removed from the Duomo and the Baptistery, especially from the exterior to avoid damage.
The museum is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The entrance fee is about 5 euro. To confirm opening hours call +39-055-230-2885.
