Windy Point Turnout in Grand Teton National Park

Written by VacationIdea.com Travel Editors.
Located just north of the Moose Entrance Station to Grand Teton National Park, Windy Point Turnout is a great spot from which to admire the southern peaks in the Teton Mountain Range.

The mountains rise more than a mile above Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with the highest peak, Grand Teton, reaching an elevation of 13,770 feet.

The Windy Point Turnout has a sign explaining the names of the mountain peaks. You can pull over and take in the scenery, or look for wildlife with a pair of binoculars.
