For a spa enthusiast, a visit to this Big Island spa is a must. Spa Without Walls at The Fairmont Orchid has 10 massage hale on a hill surrounded by tropical plants and soothing sounds of water. Orchids, palm trees, lily ponds and quiet relaxation areas create a prefect setting to unwind while in Hawaii.

Treatments to Try
We like the Waterfall Hale Massage which lets you look down on a waterfall through the opening in your massage table ($155 for 45 minutes, $205 for 75 minutes).

Choose from treatments that range from Hawaiian lomi lomi massage, a Big Island coffee and vanilla exfoliation treatment, Thai massage and reflexology.

For Couples
One of the houses has two massage tables for side-by-side massages.

Massage by the Ocean
Five private oceanfront massage cabanas at the Fairmont Orchid let you experience relaxation with a view.

Spa Facilities
In addition to the houses over the waterfalls and oceanside cabanas, the spa offers three indoor treatment rooms, a steam room, dry sauna and a spa boutique.

The Spa is open from 7am to 7pm daily. Reservations are required.
