Ali'i Tower at Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki is a hotel within a hotel that received its name after the royalty of ancient Hawaii, the Ali'i. The plan was to create a luxury hideaway fit for a king and queen within the resort complex of Hilton Hawaiian Village.

The Experience
After an efficient check-in in the smartly furnishes lobby of Ali'i Tower, we were escorted to our room with a large terrace and a view of the Pacific. The complimentary fresh tropical fruit was a welcome amenity after our long flight from the East Coast.

The location of Ali'i Tower couldn't be better. The hotel is right on the ocean, so you can easily visit the beach for a change of scenery.

Luxury Amenities
Among the the perks of staying at Ali'i Tower is access to a private pool and whirlpool, as well as complimentary hors d'oeuvres at the Oceanview Terrace each night. If you don't want to leave the tower in the morning, you can have continental breakfast there as well, although we prefer the ambiance of the the Rainbow Lanai.

As an Ali'i Tower guest, you will receive preferential reservations and seating at the resort restaurants which comes handy during the peak season.

In addition to the private pool, the tower has its own Fitness Center with massage treatment rooms and sauna.

The Resort
Next to the tower is a penguin habitat where kids and grown-ups alike gather to watch twice daily feedings of penguins and turtles.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village grounds feature colorful gardens with statues and exotic wildlife. The open-air shops are another favorite among vacationers.
