Why Go
The Lodge at Molokai Ranch is located on 65,000 secluded acres overlooking West Molokai and the Pacific Ocean. A vacation at Molokai Ranch is for those who enjoy remote destinations and plenty of outdoor activities. Molokai Ranch is a working ranch so you won't see many tourists other than the guests at the Lodge and Beach Village.

The Lodge has a spectacular infinity-edge pool surrounded by flowers. The pool is heated year-round and is a great place to relax after a day of island activities.

The main building at the lodge has a living room with high ceilings, a huge stone fireplace and a library. Along with a selection of books, there is a computer and wireless internet access.

The lower floor features a fitness center and a spa with treatment rooms, saunas, shower and lockers.

Things to Do
Guests staying at Molokai Ranch can choose from an array of activities provided by Molokai Fish and Dive, including snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, sailing, biking and whale watching during the winter months.

You can bike down to the beach and take the shuttle back to the lodge if you don't want to pedal uphill. The activities desk can arrange a pickup of your bike from the beach if you let them know. The best time to go is in the morning because it gets very hot in the afternoon since there is no share along the road.

Rooms at the Lodge
The Lodge at Molokai Ranch offers 22 spacious rooms with high ceilings, large hallways and luxurious bathrooms. For best views, ask for rooms 21 and 22 in Cottage 1 which are located on the second floor overlooking the pool and the ocean.

Vacationers who prefer more casual accommodations can stay in one of the tentalows in the Beach Village.

Where to Eat
There are two restaurants, the Maunaloa Room and the Paniolo Lounge. We liked the tables for two outside on the terrace at Maunaloa Room with views of the island.

Paniolo Lounge serves a light menu and tropical drinks. Watch TV at the bar or play a game of pool in the billiards room.
