The luau at the Royal Hawaiian hotel is a 40-year-old tradition and the only ocean front luau in Waikiki.
The Food
Guests are greeted with a lei, Mai Tais and Luau Punch on the Ocean Lawn which overlooks the beach and Diamond Head. The Royal Luau buffet includes island specialties ranging from Teriyaki Beef and fish to salads and desserts.
The Entertainment
The Royal Polynesian Extravaganza features songs and dances from the Hawaiian islands and other Pacific Rim locations that have influenced the culture in Hawaii.
When to Go & Cost
The Royal Hawaiian Luau begins at 6pm on most Mondays on the Ocean Lawn. The cost is $89 for adults; $50 for children 5 to 12 years old; free for children under four. For reservations, call 808-931-8383.
