Luxury Beach Villas and Bungalows at Le Meridien Bora Bora

Le Meridien Bora Bora

Le Meridien Bora Bora is a romantic island honeymoon getaway located on Motu Tape facing the island of Bora Bora in French Polynesia. Surrounded by a turquoise lagoon, this island resort offers guests luxurious over-water bungalows with glass-bottom floors or beach bungalows under coconut trees. Activities include water sports, swimming with turtles, and deep-sea fishing.

Le Meridien Bora Bora's private lagoon is home to the Marine Turtle's Protection Center. The project started when a guest of the hotel brought in an injured turtle. Today, the turtle is part of the center for scientific study. Guests develop an awareness of the plight of these endangered species as they free dive with the turtles.

Rooms & Suites

Le Meridien Bora Bora offers three types of accommodations: beach bungalows, overwater bungalows, and premium overwater bungalows which are ideal for a romantic honeymoon. The main difference between these three accommodations is their size and proximity to the water. All of the bungalows are air-conditioned.

The beach bungalows are available with either a queen-size bed or two single beds, have direct dial phone, safe, satellite-television, CD, DVD and MP3 reader, minibar and a coffee-maker. Beach bungalows can incorporate a convertible sofa that can accommodate a third adult or a child.

Overwater bungalows have a large section of glass in the floor so that you can watch fish from your bed. However, you are better off just slipping off the ladder on your private deck and swimming with them instead.

The premium bungalows are located right at the end of the deck, provide more privacy and have the best views of the lagoon. Premium bungalows are the best rooms for a romantic island honeymoon vacation or a romantic getaway.

Where to Eat

Le Meridien has two restaurants and a bar. Le Tipanie offers great views of the interior lagoon; dinner is a la carte and several different buffet themes are offered. Le Te Ava is right next to the swimming pool and serves lunch in a casual atmosphere. There is also a special dinner menu available. Enjoy a drink and the sunset at the Miki Miki Bar.
