Where to Eat
Rosario Resort has four restaurants and lounges that serve Northwest cuisine. The Mansion Pool Bar and Cascade Bay Grill are open during the warm season and offer outdoor seating. Live entertainment is available on the weekends at the Moran Lounge.
How to Get to Orcas Island
The San Juan Islands are accessible by ferry or by seaplane. One-way airfare from Seattle for two passengers is around $200 in the summer; and around $75 in the off-season. Companies offering air transportation include Kenmore Air Seaplanes (866-435-9524), NW Seaplanes (800-690-0086) and West Isle Air (800- 874-4434). The flight from Seattle takes approximately 45 minutes.
If traveling by car, drive to Anacortes and take the Washington State Ferry which provides an 80 minute scheduled service from Anacortes to the San Juan Islands.
