Fundu Lagoon is located on Pembra Island off the east coast of Africa. This remote tropical vacation retreat not only offers guests a laid back barefoot paradise but it also has several romantic sailing adventures as well.
The resort offers catamaran charters with skipper and crew aboard the 30 foot catamaran Solkatten. Trips depart from the resort in the morning to explore many of the secluded beaches on Pembra. You can snorkel and fish before your on-board barbeque lunch and finally return to watch the sunset from the deck.
If you prefer, you can take a romantic sunset cruise on board a traditional 11 meter wooden sailing dhow.
For the more adventurous traveler, head out on an early morning fishing trip on board one of the village fishing boats and catch your lunch. You can also take canoe trips through the pristine mangrove areas that surround the resort.
