The Whare Kea Chalet is located high in the Southern Alps of New Zealand, a perfect adventure trip for couples. Spectacular mountain walking is right out the door. In winter and spring the Chalet is provides a base for heli-skiing and ski touring.

Chalet Rooms

The Chalet has two bedrooms with double beds. Two additional guests can be accommodated in the Chalet's spacious loft. The guests and staff share all Chalet facilities including the bathroom. Guests of the Chalet are accompanied by a mountain guide and a Lodge staff member.

Where to Eat

All meals at the chalet are prepared by a lodge ataff member at the Chalet.

How to Get to the Chalet

Guests get to the Chalet via a 20-minute helicopter ride from Whare Kea Lodge.
