Haleakala Summit

The Haleakala National Park summit area is located at just over 10,000 feet, past the Haleakala Visitor Center. There is a large parking lot and a building with large panoramic windows.

Orientation talks are given every day in the summit building at 10am, 11am and 12pm. If you are interested in taking a guided hike, call the national park at 808 572-4400 for details.

Restrooms at available at the Haleakala Visitor Center. There is no food or gas sold in the park.
