The hotel offers several restaurants with views of the ocean and the hotel gardens. Breakfast is served from 6am to 11am in Cafe Kiowah. Options include buffet breakfast and a la carte items. Ask for one of the tables outside right next to the Koi pond. Just don't leave any food on the plate or it will be whisked away by tiny but speedy birds. Buffet breakfast costs $15 - $22 per person. Alternatively, you can have light breakfast at Cappuccino Corner in the lobby, open from 6am to 5:30pm.
For lunch, our favorite was the Makena Clubhouse at the Maui Prince Golf Club. Salads and sandwiches cost around $11. If you are having fun on the beach and don't want to leave your shaded lounge chair, you can have a casual lunch next to the hotel pool. The Pool Bar offers a special menu for kids.
Dinner options include contemporary island cuisine at the Prince Court and Japanese cuisine at Hakone.
Molokini Lounge serves sandwiches and tropical drinks. Evening entertanment such as hula and live music is often offered at the Molokini Lounge. When you arrive, there will be a list of current hotel activities waiting for you in the room.
