The Maui Prince Hotel is a great destination for golfers. It offers two Robert Trent Jones, Jr-designed golf courses with views of the ocean and Haleakala.
The best time to play is in the morning before the Makena cloud descends from the slopes of Haleakala. The could brings shade and sometimes light rain for a few minutes before it heads out to the ocean.
After your round, enjoy a lunch with a view at the Makena Clubhouse. Grilled meat, Mahi Mahi and huge salads were delicious.
Greens fees on the North Course start at $95 for hotel guests; from $170 for non-guests. The South Course is slightly more expensive, starting at $105 for hotel guests; from $180 for non-guests.
