NBC, located at Rockefeller Center (30 Rockefeller Plaza, 49th street between 5th and 6th Avenues) offers visitors tours of its studios. Tours include a historical presentation of NBC's transition from radio to television, as well as a visit to a working TV studio.
Depending on availability at the time of the tour, visitors may see Studio 3A (The John Walsh Show), Studio 3B (Dateline), Studio 3C (NBC Nightly News), Studio 6A (Late Night with Conan O'Brien), Studio 3K (NBC Sports), or Studio 8H (Saturday Night Live).
NBC Studio Tours run every 15 or 30 minutes, depending on the season. Since tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, reservations are recommended (call 212-664-7174). Admission is $17.75 for adults, $15.25 for children ages 6 to 16, $15.25 for seniors, and $15.25 for groups of four or more.
