The South Street Seaport Museum presents historic information about the Port of New York. It features exhibits, galleries and six historic ships which represent the largest privately owned collection of historic vessels in the United States. Through its living history programs, educational programs, sails and cruises, the South Street Seaport Museum attracts visitors of all ages.

The museum is open daily from April 1 to September 30 from 10 am to 6 pm. From October 1 to March 31, the museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm, and closed Tuesdays. Call 212-748-8600 for more information and to confirm opening times.

Admission is $5. You can purchase tickets at the museum Visitors' Center, 12 Fulton St. or Pier 16 ticket booth and all Museum galleries. Sails and cruises cost extra and should be reserved in advance by calling 212-748-8786.
