Mii amo is a unique destination spa situated within Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Arizona. While the spa has separate guest accommodations, guests can take advantage of all the facilities at the resort, including five pools, tennis and a program for kids.

The 24,000-square-foot health spa is called Mii amo, which means journeyin Native American. The structure was designed by Richard Gluckman of Gluckman Mayner Architects, creators of the O'Keeffe Museum.

The two-level spa, nestled into the natural slope of a red rock canyon wall, was built with adobe brick, wood and indigenous stone materials that are in harmony with the natural surroundings. Casitas, arranged around landscaped courtyards, house 14 spa guest rooms and two deluxe spa suites.

Spa treatments at Mii amo incorporate healing rituals from the Navajo, Yavapai-Apache and Havasupai traditions. Guests can choose from 3, 4 or 7-night programs at the destination spa, or try individual treatments to complement their vacation experience at Enchantment Resort.

3-night program rates start at $1,590 per person based on double occupancy. For reservations, call the spa at 888-749-2137.

Alternatively, you can stay at Enchantment Resort where room rates start at $295 per night, and visit the spa for individual treatments. For more information about the resort, including how to get there and facilities, read our review of the Enchantment Resort.
