Shopping Along Nakamise-dori in Asakusa, Tokyo
Written by Vacation Idea.com Travel Editors.
Asakusa is one of the areas of Tokyo where it's easy to shop for souvenirs and small gifts to bring home with you. The long Nakamise-dori street that runs from the Kaminarimon Gate to the Senso-ji Temple is filled with shops that sell fans, candy, silk boxes and other items. The street is covered with a canopy that provides shade in the summer and protects shoppers on rainy days. |
