Ginza
Ginza, Tokyo, is the most prestigious shopping area in Japan, home to stores such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Dior. As long as you know where to go, however, you don't have to spend a fortune to have a good time in Ginza. Japanese department stores provide inexpensive entertainment and food on the go. Matsuzakaya, for example, has a pet shop and a children's play area. Another good place to visit is the Sony building where visitors can preview the latest products and stroll through the showrooms. Our favorite time in Ginza is at night, when stylish storefronts and skyscrapers become illuminated with neon lights.
