Globe-Trotter is a luxury design brand for travelers, established in 1897. To celebrate 50 years of James bond, the company announced the Stabilist Aluminium case inspired by the bespoke rifle case Globe-Trotter produced for the latest James Bond film, SKYFALL, starring Daniel Craig.
Each Globe-Trotter is handmade from vulcanised fibreboard (a special material invented in the 1850s) and leather. The specialized leather team creates the iconic Globe-Trotter corners over a period of 5-days.
The 007-inspired The Stabilist Aluminium case is limited to just 100 editions globally. It features a telescopic sight handle which is a replica of the one used in SKYFALL. Internally, the case is finished with a diamond quilted Alcantara lining and commemorative internal plaque.
This suitcase retails at 5,000 GBP and is available now from the Globe-Trotter flagship Burlington Arcade store.
Even if you don't have 5,000 GBP to spend on a James Bond case, the company offers a stylish selection of luggage and accessories. Lightweight and stylish, Globe-Trotter luggage is legendary. The company makes several collections, including Original, Centenary, Safari, Cruise, Orient and Limited Edition. Prices range from 280 GBP for a 9-inch mini utility case to 925 GBP for a 33-inch extra deep suitcase with wheels (from the Cruise collection).
