A Star Martini at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is made up of:
2 oz of vintage Dom Perignon
1 oz of 150 year old Grand Marnier
3/4 oz. of Chambord
1/4 oz. orange and starfruit puree
Garnish with star fruit and caramelized Grand Marnier orange
A round of Star Martinis ($400) serves four to six people and includes a bottle of vintage Dom Perignon.
Drinks That Won't Break the Bank
More moderately priced drinks can also be enjoyed in the Lapidus Lounge, including vintage drinks, traditional cocktails, wine and champagne. There are several wines that cost under $30 and bottles of champagne beginning at $59.
When to Go
The lounge is open daily from 11 am to 1 am on weekdays, and until 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays. The best time to go is on weekdays after 8pm (except Monday) and on weekends after 9pm to catch a Live Jazz Performance by George Butts.
